  1. I’m sorry to hear about your limited diet. That’s got to be extremely tough. Corn isn’t a vegetable it’s a grass..and almost 99.99 percent of corn served on a dinner plate is GMO. So it’s got cross dna with other plants. Possibly making corn have a “gluten” response. On that same subject GMO fruits and veggies can have various effects on allergy suffers. If i...
  2. Definitely not a doctor here, but I read medical charts for a living so I see constantly what patients are reporting and what doctors are treating with. I also studied for a short time to be a dietitian till I saw what information I was to “push” then I quit school. Doesn’t make me “know” anything more than you do, but it makes me empathetic to your caus...
  3. It was over 10 years ago. I don’t remember, I’m sorry. If I get a chance I’ll attempt to locate the name of it. I read the package insert like the nerd I am and that’s where I discovered the issue with the liver and genetics and that particular cream.
  4. I had to argue with my dermatologist that DH And celiac disease ( skin symptoms) existed. He said “it’s not real”. Needless to say I have common sense and never went back to that dermatologist. Ironically his last prescription cream ( I cannot remember the name but I remembered the price$$) was a “treatment for DH under NIH readings. It also could cause l...
  5. I briefly read thru these comments so forgive me if I’m a little off topic.. i swear up and down I have DH. I’ve had “acne” that can’t be treated with “acne” meds/creams. I got tired of paying for doctors and no answers. I put myself on a gluten free diet and it didn’t work magic but it made a big impact. I can finally leave my house… i also tr...
  6. Info@foodsafetynews.com sign up for their news letter. Consumer affairs.com newsletter, jamanetwork.com( medical news for healthcare workers although it’s behind a paywall). NIH articles about food/health topics also behind a paywall, Flint Michigan trusted their water. I ordered a research book on corn aflatoxin. Nothing is perfect and it’s still better tha...
  7. That’s great and all, and I see you put your full trust in the CDC, FDA ECT. I use the K.I.S.S method for conclusions. That’s short for keep it simple stupid, and I’m not saying that your stupid nor am I claiming my opinion is correct. However, when was the last time you heard where Starbucks got its wheat or corn for products? My corn chips don’t say...
  8. The point of the article is mute. Science is too slow and hardly any money dedicated to food and nutrition just drugs. It shouldn’t take twenty years to find out blood can tell us just about anything we need to know. It controls everything in our body in one way or another. How many celiacs suffering already knew by their own bodies telling them something w...
  9. Corn contains aflatoxins. Just look that one up and tell me it isn’t scary. Food production is out of control and no accountability by the FDA. you could be having an allergy to the aflatoxins. After reading about this one, I started cooking for my dog. She’s sooo much healthier and happier. She’s 11. I want her to live a long healthy life and die in her s...
  10. This is not surprising! I may be a simpleton but I know know three things. One the “healthcare industry” is just that. I’m going on 20 years in healthcare and it’s a business. Sick people drum up ALOT OF BUSINESS. Two: science moves slow especially in medicine. Lastly I learned in basic anatomy that endothelial tissue is found all over the body. The skin an...
  11. Totally agree about the D! I think many are low and do not know it despite all the sun they may get. Also from my experience D deficiency seems to be related to many illnesses and no one is looking at dietary intakes just passing a script at the office for the symptoms!
  12. I agree. I got fired in 2020 for wearing a mask!! 😂 at a healthcare operation: read “business of healthcare”🙄 I also truly believe I have at the minimum gluten sensitivity becuase i have grass, corn and wheat allergy(tested) and a particular type of skin breakout that no dermatologist for years could correct. I believe it was dermatitis herpetiformis. Ive been...
  13. In the interest of learning and sharing.. why do you reduce or low dose d3, mg, and zinc? I also supplement in Mg, Zn, I, D3, A in average doses despite a decent well rounded diet. I know you have to be aware that some work in synergistic fashion and others sort of combine and become not as useful to the body. I'm not 100 percent sure but vit C i think is...
  14. I personally don't see the need to purchase something my body is going to urinate out in excess. I'm kind of a tight wad or becoming one in the last decade LOL. Also consider maybe the added effort on behalf of the kidneys?? I don't really have a specific reason or justification. I've read, a few places( and I cant remember off hand the specific sites/ resources...
  15. not much difference. I just find the amount of "B" vitamins in the yeast to be more reasonable plus its edible. I don't have to pay big bucks for supplements free of all the "crap" I dont want including gluten...at least I think its gluten free(marmite international food isle). I honestly dont remember its been a minute since purchasing as I dont really like...
