I've had low vit d diagnosed and a reaction to high doses prescribed 10 yrs before dx of Celiac. Tests since, when I had anxiety showed low D again. OTC 400IU D still bothered me similar to the 50,000 IU prescribed, giving me brain fog, headache & confusion. So, no D supplements and avoid anything that has been laced with it! Last summer, after 2 milkshakes from fast food, (nothing else gluten-free) I got gut issues. They progressed to pain last winter, esp right after eating. By spring was nearly ready to cave in and find a doctor. One week of taking 1 tsp of coconut oil morning and last thing before bed, cured it. No problem all summer. interesting that you are also hypothyroid. For various reasons I don't go to doctors, anymore. I've been doing slow heavy metal detox. Maybe. It wasn't right away, it was about 1.5 years after I developed extreme anxiety, nausia, etc. Mine responded to a medication with HCl in it- it had identical HCl content to an otc antihistamine so over the years since, and during a time I stupidly disregarded my diet, I've taken it for a 1-2 days and get better.
